The journal Justice and Law (JD, in Spanish) is a scientific judicial publication published every six months, essentially addressed to magistrates, judges, specialists and other workers of the Cuban Court System (ST); also, to other jurists, students and academics of the speciality, and professionals of the different areas of knowledge in the national and international sphere who can contribute results for the continuous improvement of the administration of justice.
Scientific research that has an impact on the work of the TS is the fundamental source of the articles and other texts that appear in the journal. Its contents, of novelty and scientific impact, are published in Spanish and English. It is refereed and edited, in open access, by the Supreme People's Court of the Republic of Cuba (TSP).
Subjects and scope
The journal offers a refereed scientific space for the publication of specialised articles related to legal science and, in particular, to the administration of justice. Contributions may be submitted by magistrates, judges, specialists and other workers of the Cuban courts of justice, other jurists or law students, and professionals, Cuban or foreign, from different areas of knowledge, interested in reflection, debate and the socialisation of scientific knowledge.
Languages
The journal evaluates and publishes original papers in Spanish and English. The text may be written in either of these languages; the title, abstract, and keywords must appear in both.
Submission of contributions
Contributions submitted to JD must be original and unpublished in either of the two languages accepted by the journal. It will be the author's responsibility to inform about the copyright situation. Any damage caused by the publication of a work that infringes such rights will be the responsibility of the author.
The submission of texts presupposes that the authors are aware of and accept the journal's editorial policy, in particular with regard to copyright, and the conditions of use and reuse of the work.
The journal accepts no responsibility for copyright infringements incurred by those who submit their contributions to the journal.
Submissions that violate these guidelines will be returned to the submitters.
The journal reserves the right to decide when accepted papers will be published, according to editorial interests.
Those who decide to send contributions previously submitted to JD to another publication must notify JD of the withdrawal of the text from its editorial process.
Those wishing to submit contributions to the journal should register on the journal's website (https://revistajd.tsp.gob.cu). If you are already registered, simply log in with your username and password.
Submission, editorial processing and publication are free of charge.
