THE CRIME OF CORRUPTION OF MINORS IN THE NATIONAL LEGAL SYSTEM

Abstract
The development and well-being of children and adolescents, and the fulfillment of the human rights that support them, constitute elements of attention for the international community. In Cuba, minors acquire a special connotation and respect for their interests prevails, in order to guarantee their happiness, being a priority issue for society and the State. The author addresses the crime of corruption of minors, offers an overview of the historical evolution of this criminal figure in Cuba, since the entry into force of the spanish criminal Code, and delves into its current criminal legal regulation, derived from the modifications it introduced. the legislative reform regarding the protection of the victims of this crime, as well as its harmony with the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba and with the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, in guarantee of the integral development of minors.
