THE JUDICIAL AUCTIONS IN CUBA

Abstract
This paper systematizes and explains the steps designed for the holding of judicial auctions, as part of the enforcement procedure, in order to enforce monetary judgments by the courts of justice. A brief reference is made to its origin and a comparison is drawn with some legislations from other countries. To achieve this, the main aspects covered in the new procedural norm currently in force in Cuba since 2022, Law No. 141, Code of Procedures, and the Instruction No. 269, approved by the Council of Government of the Supreme People’s Court on July 29, 2022, are addressed. This instruction contains the rules that guide the realization of judicial auctions in the process of executing judicial rulings.
